William R. Brockschmidt, Jr has closed over 11 million dollars in residential real estate sales since he began selling homes in 2005. A native Ohioan, William moved to the Washington, DC area in 1985 to attend Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service where he received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in 1989. After careers in theater and television production as well as software design he decided to obtain a Real Estate Salesperson license.
One day William followed the “Historic Town” sign to visit Chestertown on his way to the Delaware beaches with his daughter. The short visit stuck with him and several years later he was able to relocate to Chestertown full time with his husband, Bradley, and their two children.
In DC William had previously been affiliated with Coldwell Banker International, Fairfax Realty and W.C. & A.N. Miller a Long and Foster Company. He is proud to be part of the small, thriving exceptional firm of Doug Ashley Realtors in Chestertown, MD.
